Town and Country Furnishings has been located in Cortez Colorado for 48 years. Since 1968, this retail furniture store has been locally owned and operated. Johnny and Shirley Mosher have owned Town and Country since 1979, and in that time, have turned Town and Country into the Four Corners premier furniture store. Johnny is a Cortez native, and has lived here all of his life, with the exception of studying at Fort Lewis Collage, where he met Shirley. Shirley was born and raised in Wheat Ridge Colorado, and she and Johnny married, bought Town and Country, and raised three boys.
Over the years, Town and Country has changed a lot. What started as a 10000 square foot store grew over the years to a 15000 square foot retail furniture showroom. Some of the major additions have been; a La-Z- Boy comfort studio, a bedding gallery containing Serta I Comfort/ Serta I Comfort Hybrid, Serta Perfect Sleeper, Simmons Beautyrest.
We carry a wide inventory of Upholstery, Bedding, Bedroom, Occasional and Dining room furniture. Town and Country is proud to represent top brands such as La-Z- Boy, Ashley, Flexsteel, Beautyrest, Serta, Sunny Designs, Best Upholstery Inc. , just to name a few.
